Gennadius of Marseilles

Priest of Marseilles who continued Jerome's De Viris Illustribus down to his own day — preserving short biographies of Christian writers from the late 4th and 5th centuries that would otherwise be lost. Of Semi-Pelagian sympathies, his reception in the West was therefore cautious.
