The Divine Liturgy of St. James
The ancestor of most Eastern eucharistic liturgies — traditionally attributed to James the Brother of the Lord, the first bishop of Jerusalem. Still served by the Syriac Orthodox Church and, in the Greek Orthodox tradition, on St. James's feast day (October 23).
